A coaching client inspired this thought.



She was advising a new prospect and uncovered something I see often: disconnected systems, disconnected teams, and lost revenue.



It got me thinking about how business tech has evolved:


Then: Vertical SaaS—industry-specific but siloed.


Next: Horizontal SaaS—platforms like Salesforce that scaled across industries.


Now: A convergence—horizontal platforms adding industry depth, vertical players expanding, and AI bridging the gap.



The result?

 ✅ Lower adoption barriers


 ✅ Faster innovation


 ✅ More tailored experiences
