It’s Not a Revenue Problem. It’s a People Problem.

What do you want to be when you grow up?



We were bombarded with that question as kids. 


Then again, in high school. 


And finally, expected to lock in the answer in college.



The irony? What did we really know?



Most of us chose paths based on what we saw around us. 


What our parents did. 


What felt familiar. 


What class were we best at (hello, English majors 🙋‍♀️)? 


Or what we believed would make the most money.



Fast forward a few decades.



Today, I spend my time working with leadership teams to solve what they often call a "revenue problem.”


But let's be candid. It's almost always a people problem first.



Revenue follows alignment. 


Alignment starts with putting the right people in the right roles.



And that has very little to do with résumés or degrees.


🔎 85% of employees are disengaged or actively disengaging at work.


🔎 50% of millennials say they're in the wrong roles — and most will do nothing to change it. 


Add layoffs, quiet quitting, and a bloated job market to the mix, and we have a massive misalignment issue.



So here's the real question:
