Life is Short. Live It Fully.

I was lucky enough to attend the U.S. Open last week. A few things stuck with me that go far beyond golf:
• Golf is hard. Really hard. No matter your skill level, background, or determination, golf humbles you. And so does life.
• Practice helps. Whether you're on the course, in a kitchen, behind a podium, or raising a family, there's no substitute for intentional practice. To excel in any endeavor, you must be committed to showing up and doing the work.
• Memories matter more than things. The clothes, the cars, the bags — they fade. But shared laughs, spontaneous trips, and moments with the people who matter? Those are tattooed onto the soul. Forever.
Lately, life has reminded me of its fleeting nature. A college friend was recently diagnosed with cancer. A colleague lost their father unexpectedly. Too many stories of children battling terminal illness. It puts everything into sharp perspective.
We often chase the next role, next deal, next raise. But what if we focused more on filling our cups and sharing that joy with others?
Yes, money makes life easier. I’ve lived on both sides of that equation. But if you're waiting until retirement to start living, or if your success is measured by square footage or designer labels, ask yourself:
Does that truly bring you joy? Or is it masking something deeper?
My invitation to you: Don’t wait.Live now. Collect memories. Be present. Laugh loudly. And make time for what matters — with the people who matter.
Because this life? It’s short. And it’s beautiful.
