Struggles

Growing your business as an entrepreneur is a lot harder than you think.
It's not just about having a great product or service; it's about how you bring it into the world. Do you use social media to build awareness? Leverage your personal network for connections? Ask for referrals? Invest in paid services? Join networking groups? Some will be great, some will be major flops.
The truth is, there is no straight path to growth.
You'll face peaks and valleys. Feast and famine months. Periods of momentum and seasons of struggle. Sometimes you will fall. You will take the wrong path or choose the wrong partner. People who say they are supporting you, but whose actions speak louder than their words.
But here's the part many entrepreneurs overlook: this is a two-way street.
**Don’t give away your time, skills, or resources without clarity on what you’re receiving in return.
** Don’t minimize your own success just to make someone else more comfortable.
** And don’t allow past leaders, colleagues, or peers to use your expertise while offering nothing back.
At the end of the day, you are your own best advocate.
As you summit toward your goals, hold onto the “why” behind what you're building. Celebrate your wins, no matter the size. Protect your energy and stay aligned with your vision.
The entrepreneurial journey is not easy, but it’s worth it when you refuse to trade your value for someone else's comfort.
So, here’s the question I’ll leave you with:
Do you advocate for yourself in business, or are you unintentionally giving away your power?
